Ethernals

Ethernal are cosmetic pets in Aether: Trading Card Game and Gates of Ethernity that appear in the game during matches. They can be found in the Ethernal's nest, where they react to the events of the match and interact with the player. They can be purchased only from the Aether Store, and the ones owned by a player can be viewed in the Collection tab. These variants range from common to rare. All Ethernal are inspired by creatures from the Aether universe and provide unique effects to help the player in battle, which can be used once per match. In Gates of Ethernity, these Ethernal are the main creatures of the game, and have their own progression known as the succession path.

Ethernals are also the main fighting units of the Gates of Ethernity that protect the Master, also known as the adventurer in battlegrounds. They cannot be directly controlled, but players can purchase, sell, rearrange, and equip items on them, as well as upgrade their abilities during the match.
